Default How will it handle with like 7 ft of air?

Ok I am seeing in alot of posts that the suspention on the 09 dosnt really handle well on jumps. Are we talking like super cross type jumps that it wont handle or like five tenten feet of air it wont handle? Also I am just wondering what kind of protection people where on the road. Am I going to look retarted cruising down the road on a klx wearing a street bike jacket? whats the proper ediqutte here?

i dont think anyone really knows about the suspension yet on the 09..... even the 06-07 if your gonna jump it ya prolly need to upgrade the springs.. unless your 150lbs... rider weight has a big factor in it... it will handle jumps.....

It also depends on the landing........ I'm thinking a 7-10 foot flatlanding on any bikecould be bad....... in MHO.

Ive done a long 125 mile trail and dirt ride, a super swampy, muddy volcanic ash deep hare scrammble, and team 24 hr race--
they have teased me a bit, because I still have the stock blickers on, and call it a "RockingHorse" but I have been able to keep up &
have more energy/comfort when done!I'm about 180 lbs. Ive set the sag and tightned thingsup a bit in the settings........ if I keep
on racing/riding this way I am going to take it to PRO-Moto, since they really are just an hour away.

as far as protection goes.... I think anything is ok as long as it works and gets you on the thing riding!

i like the look of the Tour Master jackets... I have a 3 layer one, ones a heat/thermal layer, ones a wind/rain layer, and last is the road rash/plastics/pads outer mesh part... i really like it, in the summer i just rock the mesh part, and its quite toasty in the winter, doesnt billow up or anything either. It was 140MSRP and i got it on sale for 100 bucks or so from a local retailer.

Hey I checked out that touring jacket. Its pretty cool but I will be in savannah GA and it is wayto hot there for some thing like that. I might pick one up in the winter though. As for the cagers and there kids I cant wait to have them watching in awww as I ride down the road . I actually had to look up the term cagers to find out what it meant. I know I'm a newbie but its cool I learn quick.
