Ahh I see. Do u pull all of the stuff that the thing u sent me to pull the carburetor out of the bike? they say to take the gas tank out and pull it through the top. I pulled mine out of the airbox hole the last time I took it out. It took me like 20 min to pull it out cause we have more to unhook and the stinking vent tubes are all getting old so I guess I need to get some new ones. thanks west for the info.

We've got the 300cc high flow airboot on our AUS spec bikes down here. They're flexible rubber not the hard plastic you get. I've never taken it off, so I wouldn't know if it's easier? I can have the carb' out in about 10 minutes now as I've done it a few times. The 300 airboot does make it easier than you guys with the hard plastic square boot. Oh, and we dont have TPS or the "smog" stuff on AUS spec bikes either. Our bikes are actually KLX250R models, you guys get KLX250S. My log book says KLX250R H7. I'm sure that's why we get a few different parts to the USA spec bikes.

Yeah! Tank off. You can get to the slide and needle with just the tank off. Otherwise, cables off then carb' comes out through the top. No smog crap and no TPS makes it easy and I've removed the carb' de-ice circuit we get on the the bikes down here in AUS. That speed things up too.

That stinks. I Guess I dunno what the heck I did. I cant remember. I just got it to come out. lol. I wonder if they could make it a lil easier? I also found out that on the tag just below the rear lugg rack is a tag that saysmodel# klx250h6 that is the standard for a 06 i guess. You said yours is a 07 correct?

How the heck does the number of posts have to do with the quality of the member?
