Default How to remove chain on '07?

Is there a write-up located somewhere? I tried searching but didn't find anything specific to our bikes.

I want to replace the stock chain with a DID chain and get a 13T CS sprocket. What size chain do we need with 13T CS sprocket?

Thanks!

Thanks!
gearing and what you ride like/13/14/15/, lots off combos big chain and a splitter your the man. Apparantley the 351 kit you can't shift fast enough.

Fit the 13 tooth with the stock chain. (106 links) Gearing will be 13/42.
Removing the stock chain is simple. Just remove the master link by popping off the link clip and removing the master link itself. Just remember to fit the clip in the correct direction when you refit the master link. (Open end of the clip faces to the rear of the bike on the top chain run.)

Do I need a chain-breaker tool to remove the masterlink, or could I pry it off with a flathead or something?

You do not need a chain breaker to remove the master link. You can use a good pair of needlenose pliers and use that on one of the pins and the link itself to kind of slide it lengthways with the chain so it comes off. Then I usually use a flathead screwdriver between the two links next to where the master goes on to pry off the link. Then the rest should be able to slide off.
