Just speculation here, but I bet the F.I. version of our bike would easily pump out over 30 HP once a Power Commander (or similar) is released, if combined with a pipe and a big bore. But for us poor shmucks that bought the '09 with the carburetor I think 30 is about peak for a reasonable build.

And on the production Impala:
The car you see on the track Sunday has absolutely nothing in common with the car you see on the dealer's lot. It is a Chevy by name only, just as if you gave NASA your 249cc Kawasaki engine and they gutted it to the core, replacing every piece with their custom-made parts. No longer a Kawasaki.
