How to lower my 2009 KLX 250s without link
1st time posting-great forum.
I am thinking of changing the tires for something more road friendly but I would like to lower about 2 inches-is there a way to do so without lowerinks links?

you can raise the fork about an inch to lower the front almost an inch...you can soften up the suspension for your own body weight to lower the bike a bit, but handling would be horrible...you need longer links and probably need to swap out the springs in the fork also to lower it 2 inches...

Why don't you want to use links? You can get a pair shipped to your front door for $30 bucks...

I basically lowered mine by shaving the seat. Heres the thread and pics.
I'm 5'4 and bikes just right.

I actually would like to have supermoto wheels and street tires but I do not want to spend that kind of $$.
The lowering link might be the answer-the seat is already firm-so I hate to shave the seat.
Thanks for the replies.
