Here's a pic of them from at a race a few years ago. The straps are tied to the third rung down from the top and hook to the frame down by the hitch. The top of the ramp has a lip/platform that extends over the tailgate about 4 inches, while the rails themselves butt directly up against the edge of the tailgate, so when the straps are snug, the ramps can't slip forward or backward.

i just back my ute up to a bank or deck or what ever i can find and just drive it on. it real hilly were i ride so always a place to load up or unload

LOL!...man, there are some funny loading videos out there. That's why us old guys use something like this...much closer to the ground so we don't break our hip.

I have the full 1500 lb quad ramps, I can walk on one and roll the bike down the other one. But for loading I just ride it right up. And it has two straps that hook to your truck so it can't slip off.

deej....DOOOD!.....that's the ultimate old man loading system if I've ever seen one. I think that will fit in my motorcycle trailer. I'd even be able to load my bike after a half bottle of tequila with that thing.
