How deep can I go?

How deep can I go?
I'm staring at the 2-3 foot deep water holes next to my office, and my klx with low tire pressure (I was mudding her up in a construction site on my way to work -- so sorry, mr. engine with 220 miles on him who got racked by super high RPMS screaming through thick muck) is sitting outside my office window too.
How deep in the water can I go? What happens when I go too deep?

That all depends on how fat you are. You can only go as deep as your intake. The fatter you are, the lower the intake.

sorry not sure about how deep but I do know that once you go to deep and you suck water into the carbs then into the combustion chamber it is all over

The air intake is just below the seat, so I'd consider a few inches below the bottom of the seat in the danger area to account for splash. But people drown bikes all the time in water crossings - like tipped over submerged. The undrown procedure is basically to remove the airbox, filter, etc, wring it all out - tip the bike over and drain good. While it ain't good for it, it'll likely still run but as NS say, if you get dirt or sand in there, then its pretty much history.
