I'm glad they didn't have it a few months ago or I would have probably bought it instead of my KLX since I am a big Honda fan. I would have been oblivious on how much better the little Kawi is.

A 250X based one would be interesting. This is DR200 & TTR 225 competition.

I was wondering just how long Honda was going to ignore this growing market segment and leave it to the XT225 and DR200SE.

I am looking at this type bike for my wife and here is the simple skinny:

The new Honda looks nice although the CRF moniker makes little sense, I'm sure it has the typical excellent Honda build quality and rear disk but has a smallish tank and I'll bet that seat sucks.

The XT225 also has a small tank but so far is my #1 choice.

The DR200SE is my wife’s pick, has a large tank and is small, light and easy to maneuver but underpowered and only a 5-speed shift-box, still probably more bike then she'll ever use.

Don't rule out the Yamaha TW200. It is under powered like the rest of them but has a low stance and is very stable in loose stuff. Also is geared to pull a truck.

My wife thinks hers is the greatest. I've even had some fun on it.

Hmmmmm tough choice, the actually both look good, and the Suzuki does have 1.1 gal more fuel capacity.

From what I see, the $200 dollar difference, larger tank, is the only plus on the Suzuki. On the Yamaha, it has 6th gear, .........is $200 more......hmmmm Now I'm wondering if I should have bought the Suzuki. But in 06 they were mega ugly. Now...not so much.
