Yes the vapor does have a backlight and very bright at that to. i have the bike loaded for a trip right now, but when i get back i will post a picture of what it looks like running. The vapor is bolted to a KLX300R and hooked into the stator. i love it compared to the previous enduro computer.

I just unbolted the stock headlight and chopped the lower half of the mounting bracket off. The cluster is heavy but the top half of the bracket is more than strong enough to hold it there. Its been chopped since march and I have had no issues.
As far as the vapor having a backlight, im not sure yet, havent looked into them too much. Ill let you know when I do though.

Hey guys, the forum wouldnt let me post last night so sorry for the delay. I got my header through afterburnermx on ebay also and I DO NOT recommend them. It took almost a month to get my header. I emailed them and got some fluff about it not being in stock blah blah. I would order through someone else.
