Holy FMF powerbomb batman!
I installed my FMF powerbomb header tonight in conjuction with my HMF. Before I got the p-bomb I had a stock headpipe that had the welds on both ends ported and it flowed MUCH better than stock. With the HMF can the stock header with the welds ground down on both ends flowed good, but nothing compared to the p-bomb. After installing the p-bomb header tonight and taking a trip it was a WORLD of difference. Anyone who says a header is minimal at best is nuts in my opinion. I hit the rev limiter it felt like almost immediately with p-bomb on. It revs MUCH quicker and I can now pull 3rd gear wheelies with the p-bomb. Before it just didnt have enough *** to pull the front wheel all the way up.
Mods as of now are:
-Jetted stock carb
-no airbox lid
-chopped back fire screen
-hmf can w/o quiet core with spark arrestor
-p-bomb header
-13-48 sprockets
-crankcase breather enlarged
-air injection system removed
-motocross rear fender with chopped subframe and acerbis taillight
-headlight/headlight bracing taken off with acerbis headlight installed
-acerbis black front fender
-guts racing tall seat foam(hard) with black gripper cover
-trackmaster II's front and rear (120/100-18 in the rear, 3-21 in the front)
-motopro front and rear springs
-utah skid plate
-enduro engineering disk guard
-passenger pegs, turn signals, rack, numerous brackets and stuff removed
-kickstand switch removed
-fan removed
-renthal bars with acerbis handguards
Next on the list is the big bore/pumper carb and further junk removal off the bike via trailtech vapor, more frame trimmage, aftermarket tank
It did well in my harescramble back in March that I raced with Nobrakes, but with the mods now it will definitely be much more prepared for races in the fall
Ill get some pics up tommorow

Glad to hear it, HardTaco! That P-bomb header is proving to be the real deal. I think I remember Shadetree saying that it restored some of the top-end power on his 331 setup, so you definitely have some scalability if you want to go larger bore some day.

Cool! I'm completely thrilled with mine as well.
I expect my Black Clarke tak to show up next week.

hardtaco, when you removed the headlight bracket to install the acerbis, how did you mount your instrument cluster? if you removed all of the instruments, did you just cap off the wires?

RE: Holy FMF powerbomb batman!
I just unbolted the stock headlight and chopped the lower half of the mounting bracket off. The cluster is heavy but the top half of the bracket is more than strong enough to hold it there. Its been chopped since march and I have had no issues.
As far as the vapor having a backlight, im not sure yet, havent looked into them too much. Ill let you know when I do though.

The Vapor has a very bright backlight if it isattached to a 12v constant supply. I think its 10 led's. If not attached to 12v and ran off of its own battery you only get like 2 led's and they are not on constantly.
