Hey Marty, How thesound level and toneof the slip-on (withthe quiet core installed) compare to the stocker?

Marty no longer hangs-out here. You can find him a klrworld.com in the 'Your KLX' section. I'd guess that it's slightly louder than stock with a deeper note that travels further. I think it's the most quiet after-marker pipe offered for this bike, so far.

I actually think marty's hmf was quite loud... i got to hear it compared to muzzys and my big gun... i think mine was pretty quiet compared to the other exhausts there, i just repaced it too though...

i think he did.... there was 2 hmf's down there, and they sounded the same, sounds good.

According to HMF (Yeah, I know...), it should be almost as quiet as the stocker with the quiet insert.

Can somebody confirms?

You bought a new pipe? Am I parsing that correctly? Sounds like you were leaning toward the HMF.
