So you can call them up and they make one for you and it's done in 4 weeks? I really like that pipe and I like being able to keep the stock head on. Do you need to Dyno Jet the carb as well? I"m sure. I haven't received my Muzzy yet anyday, but I might sell it for that slip on and save a bit of money.

i wanna see dyno results on the muzzy/biggun...the only show about a 2-3 hp gain with the slip on....

Well I dont think they look That bad, But the one thing I Dont Understand about these type bike's is WHY.
Your not going to be racing it against any type of Street motorcycle. Because it sits so high the handling cant be that great even with street tires. Because it has those street tires you have hurt any Real offroad ability. Other then the fact that motords look kinda cool in there own way I dont get it.

I of course have to chime in here as I've been called the BigGun advocate for months. So here's my take as I'm sure everyone is awaiting what I have to say (I'm so arrogant, lol, really I'm not though- just controversial). I think the FMF looks good and it fits the curves of the bike and the sidepanel excellent. Looking at the BigGun (btw, I'm jealous of the new emblem design), it looks like, takes up the least amount of usable space on the bike. Usable being if you flipped the bike or crashed in any way to put the exhaust system at risk, it would be the one I would think that would sustain the least amount of damage because it sits higher up and extends out the least.
The Muzzy otoh, after looking at whosever bike that is- really, imo, just looks out of place on the 250 (bring it on muzzy lovers). It is SO long and it hangs down noticeably like an ornament. I still do not know why muzzy doesn't just tweak their bend and mounting points for the muffler and make available a pipe exclusively for this bike. I do not know the power gains from my EvoX and carb mods, but it is significant compared to stock, but certainly not what Pastrana was riding through the woods. I was going to dyno my bike last week at a rally but they wanted $50 and I thought that was outrageous. I dyno'd my '93 ZX7 (yeah, with a Muzzy) in Brainerd like 12 years ago for $20, so $50 I thought was rapeage.
What I'm nervous about is this slip-on. Everyone knows (dont we) that the real power gains on the KLX is with the header pipe. Do some research into fourstrokeworks.com and you can see just how choked up the KLX really is with it's tiny header. If you're gonna do the slip-on, at least spend $140 for the fsw header so you can tell a difference. The slip-on didn't provide 3 horse I guarantee. They had to rejet to get that type of power just from a slip-on. But with the price of the fmf slip-on and the fsw header you may as well buy the ultimate system imo, the EvoX from BigGun. I wish I could dyno my bike just to see if I am blowing smoke, but I do know it's more than 18 horsies.

Guys: Not to start another Pipe War here but in reading the last Big-Gun post, I just want to let all who may be interested that the gents from HMF were excellent to work with! I've heard and read too many issues with Big-Gun and Muzzy.
Also it appears by the flange measurement, that the ID's between baoth pipes are the same. So I'll stay with the very nice stainless steel head pipe that is stock.
