HMF Slip On Exhaust

RE: HMF Slip On Exhaust
I like that pipe ... and it comes in different colors!!!
I noticed the Dyno results on the site too. Are the dyno results with the HMF also with the carb mods? If so, I can't help but wonder how much of the HP increase was due to the carb mods. It would be cool if they posted the dyno results of the stock pipe with the carb mods and the hmf pipe without the carb mods.
The thread didn't have any picture of how to install the pipe

I like the look of that pipe Although I really like the Ceramic Coated Head Pipe in the Big Gun As it holds up to heat better. I think the head pipe that comes on the bike is just abit to small . The after market head pipes are not that much bigger than stock just a little bit not enough that you will notice it hurting the power. And if you could dyno the bike with the same muffler and a stock head pipe and the larger one I am sure you would see a small improvement with more air getting out faster.
I don't no how many of you guys have ever got to run a bike on a Big Drum dyno but its kinda nuts . I dynoed a big 4 cly bike on one. I also saw a guy blow up his motor because the dyno failed and when he was at full power pushing about 300hp at the rear wheel the drum started freewheeling and BOOOOOM.....
I think the HMF canister looks kinda like The Big Gun one. For my taste the Muzzy looks kinda to small and to long IMO . But we all like different things thats what make USA great .
I have been riding Street bikes for 30 years and the models out now look kinda bad to me they all look the same like cars. But I think the worst part of most bikes out now is they have UGLY exhuast systems there HUDGE and have a little exit hole like the KLX... So you have to go out and spend between $500 and $1000 to make it look good and run better.
Some times you have to wonder what these designers are thinking...................
If you notice the Muzzy goes past the tail Light ,The HMF goes about to the end of the tail Light , The Gig Gun goes about halfway back the tail Light.
I bet they all have about the same performance gains depends on how close your jetting is to perfect .

RE: HMF Slip On Exhaust
If you guys would like an opinion from a non-klx owner......
I think all the pipes look good. And it comes down to personal choice. I imagine they are like street pipes, all have about the same HP gains etc...
I like the look of the HMF on there.....I am partial to that styling of pipe tho
The hmf and Big Gun seem to share about the same area of space on the bike. The muzzy looks like it relocates a bit further down. So the muzzy would be better for a passenger??
I did hear the video that BadBear posted, and that is a GOOOOOOD sounding pipe.
