I second that! Seems pointless when the power drops off big time after 8k. Try shifting just after the power peak, no need to beat the **** out of the bike.

 

Yea, I only hit it on accident... like when I hit neutral on accident, but that really only happened 2 times or so. I can just feel what it takes, and when i look down its usually around 8k, the bike gets nasty vibrations after 8.5-9k IMO... it just feels bad lol.
