3700 mi on my 09 figured id ride it ta 10K and sell it and buy another dual sport but am reconsidering after this thread haha so far no problems other than tires wearing out and normal maintance. I use it to commute, back roads and trails ( fairly hard on the trails as i mostly ride with guys on 125 2 smokes and a guy on a banshee) It keeps up fairly well but lacks on big hill climbs/wide open flat out riding scenarios.

9500 miles and counting.. change the oil and filter every 1000-1500 miles using Honda GN4 10w-40 bike runs like a top. at about 5000 i had to have warranty work done on the valve cover gasket, apparently there was a bad run of those. couldnt be happier with this bike!

Just closing in on 19000 KM's and not a problem has arisen. And I only change the oil every 3000 kms. no fancy oil either. Some generic conventional oil (Motomaster) that meets JASO certification.

I have 38,600 miles on mine. I just recently had to take speedo cable off. I have been working on KX 250 1992 fork install. I will work on installing the stock wheel after I have everything else worked out. I also might go to a Vapor dash so I can use both the KX wheel and the KLX wheel. I did not ride the KLX last summer as much to work mostly rode my VN900.

Just passed my one year anniversary with my '09 and I've got about 1200 miles on it. I've changed the oil twice. Lots of mods but no problems. It was -3 degrees F this morning so I haven't been doing much riding. Is winter ever going to end?!

the reason why i like this bike so much.
1 engines under 300cc are $200-$400 cheaper to register per year
