Default Hey guys, tell me about this bike!

Hey I may be selling the KLX250...but it's possible I still stay in the KLX family....

Looks cool...sportsman setup. Seems maintained. I am loving my girls Ninja250 but I just don't think I could give up the ability to go off-road for my next bike.

I often wondered about the older KLX 650 bikes. Let us know what you decide.

It's nice...goin' to research the KLX650c right now. Apparantly it was $1000 more than the KLR650 back in the day, which added to it's demise. USD forks, solid motor, heavy but low COG...it's all black...from someone I know, less than $2k...12k miles on a bike from 93 is not a lot at all.

cue wringing hands and maniacal laughter....

They're practically indestructable. A riding buddy of mine has one and beats the day lights out of it everytime we go out. It's a tank though and you'd better be a big guy otherwise the bike will ride you. Getting it started after a stall is tough. It's kickstart only and you have to follow the procedure or you'll be there a while. It has big power and will go like snot out in the open and can be ridden on single track but it's a workout.

I like what you're saying. I'm pretty sure the C model is electric start. Only thing I'm really concerned on is the funky wheels, 17" and 21", oil consumption, and rear shock. They upgraded the shock on the 94 models and up.

If your keeping those street tires on there and will be staying on the street then it's not a bad deal. Street miles are easy miles.

I would probably have a set of 90/10 dirt wheels too.
