Hey, im new here, I am thinkin about buyin a used 07 klx 250s with 800 kms on it (also considerin buyin new but for 2500 more not likely)

i was hopin someone could point me in the right direction on which/where to order a carb/exhaust/rear fender

 

My advice is buy the 2nd hand one, as long as u know the seller has treated it well as it is still just in it's break in period.

This is the Edge tail light for the KLX 250. I put one on looks awesome! And it completely gets rid of the ugly plastic.

As for the exhaust i am getting a staintune soon, cant wait, i have heard good things about it.

Cant help u with the carby though, but someone else will, this forum is the best .

Does that taillight fit '07 models? Does it require any special modifications?

Welcome! If you elect to get another carb .. then you'll want to check in with Bill Blue, (he's a member of our forum) and he'll be able to put you inline with a good carb for the KLX250s. It'll cost some bucks but it is a great Mikuni carb. I love mine! Fires up every time and it's a bit like a lightening bolt on the trails. When you crack that throttles she really wakes up that motor for you.

Oh! If I were making the choice, I'd go with a 'well cared for used one' every time. just sayin!!
