Help with pilot jet 2007 KLX250S
OK, I'm getting ready to order the Dynojet kit #2206 for my bike and I'm looking at pilot jets now.
Here's where I'm at:
MIKUNI 4-PACK PILOT JET VM28/486 #15 VM28/486-15
What do I get? I've looked at the part numbers thread and can't find anything that matches.
Am I looking at the wrong mfg?
I'd like to have an assortment to give the mechanic because I don't know where my carb is going to end up. 35,38,40.
I'm not very mechanically inclined so any help would be appreciated.
I'm planning on the FMF Q4 #42246 exhaust, and the Sunstar #34213 thirteen tooth front sprocket also.

LG, agree with mb on the Kehin carb reference. But honestly you're not going to need anything bigger than the 38 with your setup, and frankly my money is on the fact that you won't even need to change the OEM 35 pilot that's in your carb right now. But getting the 38 is a good option to cover the bases.

Thanks. If that's the case then I'm probably not going to order another pilot jet right now. I'm loading up my cart at powersports.net and was going to add one since they're pretty cheap. However, they don't sell what I need so I'll wait and see what the mechanic says.

Yeah, I spend a lot of time over there. I notice quite a few of the Kawasaki forum folks over there too. This forum seems to consistently bring up very meaningful info on our bikes...no surprise because of the focus on the model. And with the exception of some people here...cough...cough...dan888...cough...there are some great people with some great info.
