If your ACR was working fine it would not crank so hard on the compression stroke. Thats what it does Automatic Compression Release. When you swapped exhaust cams you may have dicked something up.

Agree. I think you have a problem with the ACR.

Thanks for all the info. I have a manual and a torque wrench. I think I may have found the problem last year I changed the starter gear bushings one in the cover and one on the engins block cover. Not knowing this bike had a set of cams in it which wore out the one bushing already I took a good look at the bushings again and it is worn out so I put the cam back in which came with the bike and the timing marks are dead on. So im waiting for the dealer to get my bushings in and new gaskets and we will soon find out.

ok so i got a used cam which was supposed to be new i spent all weekend adjusting my valves and still nothing bike cranks hard so i ground down my feeler gouge to fit just on the acr put a .025 in ther and the bike cranks fine. so i think i need to buy a new stock camshaft with a good acr i think the one i bought is bad plus it only cost me 40 bucks so whats that tell u. so where is a good place to get a good cheap stock exhaust cam for my 2009 klx250sf.
