Default Help with mods please

Ok, I have decided to mod my wifes 2006 KLX250S and here is what I plan on doing but want to be sure I have done my homework correct. I am going to do it this way to save money and get a good power boost. I have already done the 13t sprocket but that is all so far. My plans include:

KLX300 Exhaust and head pipe
KDX200 Snorkle
# 16009-1912--------Needle-Jet,N1TC
# 92143-1667--------Needle Collar (required for N1TC needle)
# 92037-1401--------Clamp, Needle Jet (Clip, required for N1TC needle)

Not sure on the correct jet for Florida panhandle about maybe 200 feet above sea level
# 92063-1069--------#125 Main Jet
# 92063-1074--------#128 Main Jet

Extended Fuel Screw from Kouba #FS-3
Using stock pilot jet
Drill slide to 7/64's

Any advice on the main jet size to use? I am thinking the #125. Also the correct clip position on the needle? Anybody do the same setup?
Thanks in advance,
db

Imo, I would not spend the money on the kdx snorkle. Either ditch the lid all together or take the snorkle out. If you want the snorkle I know some on here have ones that they are not using, you may get it for cheap. I would get a high flow air filter like a uni, or twin air though. Don't forget to open up the crank case breather.

I already put a UNI air filter in it (forgot). I will be happy to get some offers on a snorkle The crankcase breather mod. Does it help performance that much?
Thanks,

I agree with 2k, the snorkel is useless, I'd ditch the lid and go with the bigger jet.

Ok, so you mean go with the #128 main jet? What clip position on the needle? I am at about sea level over here too...
Thanks,

yah sea level i'd go 128, seems the popular choice. I think most guys go with the 2nd position on the clip, but i'm not sure i run the dynojet kit. the needle position is something you can fool with a little easier too.

Ok, thats what I wanted to hear. I see pulling the carb would get easier each time its done but I would like to do it one time. So you can reset the needle clip without pulling the carb correct?

The 128 jet is richer then the 125 isn't it?

In the Arizona heat of summer and the lower temperatures of winter, is a 125 jet a better choice for me?

Thanks!
