Question Help me out here

Totally non KLX question but heh, you guys are like family.

I need/want to get a 2 up freindly cruiser.
So "she who must be obeyed" can enjoy a trip or 2.
The Duke just doesn't cut it for the pillion.

Anyway, I have narrowed it down to these 2.

I'm torn.
I like em both but can't seem to make a call.

Keep it ADV and try out a Vstrom. Way cheap and excellent 2 up.
Triumph suspension is woeful BTW IMHO, if that helps.

That would be some trip.
One day. Maybe, maybe not.
I wouldn't travel within a cooeee of Pakistan at the moment.

I'm thinking at most an overnighter down to say Margeret River but mainly day trips in the Swan Valley or York.

Kouba link and low (for its class) 194kg weight will make it a doddle to handle.

My old mad (65) has one, ABS model with twin spark head. Puts out about 65 hp. He's 5'10" and has a gammy knee and does alright. 22 litre fuel tank and FI too. 650 model is $10,000 if I'm correct, bargain.

Its a good bike.
But at 5'4", its just to big and tall.
Even the sales guy said I would struggle.
And 2 up. well I need to have a firm grip with the ground.

Thats the lure of a cruiser. Nice and low.

Plus, there will be nothing but sealed roads for this baby.

If I go for a non cruiser, this is the most likely.

It has an adjustable seat and on the lowest setting it wasn't too bad.
A bit like a small Bandit.

Have you seen one of these? W650. Available as an import. Like the Triumph but everything works as it should, and it's still green, sort of.
