[IMG][/IMG]Hello! So I bought a 250 klx. I currently have 800 miles on it. The problems started @ around 600 miles. When the bike warmed up to operating temp, it would just shut down. Trying to restart it was not easy, but she'd finally fire up, but not idle. After helping it idle, once moving it would have NO power-low or high end. I brought it back to the dealership- they said it was due to overtight exhaust valves-a factory defect. They replaced basically the whole top end-about $1100 worth of time and labor all on Kawi's bill. I was let down, but once I left the shop she was runnin like a top- for about 200 miles- then the same thing happened. I don't abuse it at all and I've been riding bikes for 20 years now-had a lot of old "junkers", but never have any of them been this bad. Any one have an idea on what's goin on here- I'm trying to get a different klx. I think mine was built on a friday afternoon! Thanks and aloha! trey[IMG][/IMG]

 

That seems to me more like either a pinched tank vent line or a torn diaphram for the carb slide. Also check the float level.
