Awesome thanks for all the help guys it looks like I'll go ahead and order the dynojet 2152 and I'll open the airbox and run a 120 or 124 main with the distanzia's. I'll let you know what settings I end up with as a reference for other klx noobs

Hmm interesting point I had no idea I def want the extra sound but I'm pretty sure more vibration would get annoying. What speeds are you referring to when you say high speed?

I forgot to mention tyres. As I ride mainly on black stuff for commuting I have -
Front - Michelin Sirac
Rear - Heidenau K60
Both okay on gravel although I have to let out some air from both.

Dynojet has excellent instructions, you should follow them. There is no pilot jet in the the dynojet kit for a reason, even if your stage two you don't need one.

^^^ +1

I know the DynoJet costs more than buying parts from Kaw, but there is a lot of engineering that goes into the kit. They have done all the trial and error for you, so that you have a *very* good chance at getting your jetting "right" the very first time. That's worth the extra $ to me. The fewer times I have to pull the carb, the better. ;-)

75-85?!?!?!

I have a bored out 351, airbox lid off, 132 dynojet, 38 pilot, etc. HMF exhaust, baffle removed.

I don't feel comfortable going that fast at all. I have more of a dirt tire though. Does it feel better and more in control going this fast on the road with a more road oriented tire? I believe I have the Pirelli Scorpions right now.

My bike feels nothing like that at all, I wish it did though. That has been on my to do list for awhile but I'm completely knowledge-less when it comes to suspension modifications and adjustments. I have heard about the stabilizer before though, does that help out?

My suspension actually needs a lot of work. The middle spring under the seat is out to the last click and when I sit on the bike, it still sags down way too far ( in my opinion). I only weigh 180 lbs. Same with the front shocks. They have way too much play - and the seals need to be replaced.
