Mammoth, could you clarify something for me? I thought you needed the collar...the part that is directly above the needle jet holder. Isn't 16017 the collar that we speak of? Now I'm confused...LOL!

 

16017 is the collar i just ordered. before i ordered a different "collar" that goes on the top of the needle above the clip. mearly a double thick washer so that the needle does not bounce around in the white cage

 

yup, needle jet / collar whatever you call it. runs like a champ with it in. maybe thats why the last guy gave up on it after 5 miles. now i can focus on other things with the bike like getting these knobbies on.
