HELP HELP! rear fender problem!
Today my maier rear fender came in the mail. I already had the UFO tail light and plate holder. I decided to put it on today and i ran into a huge problem. I took the stock fenders off and unplugged the 3 wires for the tail light. The UFO had the 3 wires but in a plug forum.. No big deal right? so i took the plug off and had the 3 wires seperate. after about 25 mins trying to figure out a pattern on how to plug the 3 wires in. I FINALLY figured it out.. silly me let go and lost them all. Now i dont know witch ones go where. and all of a sudden when i was figuring it out my head light stopped working? so hear i am trying to mix and match 3 wires to run the running light, taillight, liscence plate light. AND my head light is offf man did i mess up today.
help please!

RE: HELP HELP! rear fender problem!
+1 on checking the fuse. If you have a multi meter, set it to DC Volts and the run some tests on the wires. It should be pretty easy to figure out the right combination. there's only 27 possible combinations for the 3 wires and black is almost always ground.

You don't even need a multimeter, just pop the fuse out and look at it. If it looks like the little wire in there is broken, then it's dead.
I blew the fuse at least 8 times on my TTR trying to jerry rig a tail light up using an on off switch epoxied to my brake pedal
