I made a trail map from my GPS track log. Check it out.

I think it was "Daniel" that was giving me the trouble. I want another go at that rascal.

Heh Brian,

I like the rocky stuff until I fall off.
It hurts.
A buddy fell off on a steep rocky decline last October.
It took a while to get him and his bike out of there and he is still on crutches!!

Do you know how to post a GPX file so that others can access it?

Rocks are tough, combine with steep hills and it's downright dangerous. At 2:12 into the clip, you'll find this scene:

Notice the white cross painted on the tree? Someone was killed here in this section not too long ago. Pretty erie.

No, sorry I don't.

Nice vidio, riding in the loose rocks gets old in a hurry. Theres never any time to lay back and take it easy.

When you going ,where is brushy mtn. ,what are the particulars. Not much seat time offroad ,too damn many road miles. I don't know of any good trails close by but i've heard of a place called boscoe beach near goldsboro.

Hey illenium, I changed up the mount this evening because the above method didn't work out so well. I had just set my helmet down and the camera fell off. The dual-lock strip glue did not stick well to the foam tape I used to build up the base to get the right angle from the camera. So instead of sticking it back on and risking it falling off during a ride, I decided to do a more solid mechanical mount. I didn't want to put any hole in my helmet, though, so I used the two screws that hold the visor on. Your helmet probably has something similar. Here's what I did - this version looks like it is going to be very solid:

Here's the right side visor mount, this is what I'm going to replace on the left side:

I used a 1/4 inch polycarbonate plate, aka Lexan, drilled and countersunk holes for the visor mount, then drilled for the camera mount:

Camera mount on:

And the camera:

This one seems nice and solid, but should still break away in an accident because the visor screws are just plastic. Hope this helps and gives you some more ideas.
