hello and what is 250s?
hi,
I just signed up here. I've had my 2007 KLX250 for almost a month now.. Previously posted some pics here:

So since this is a 250S forum, can anyone tell me the difference between 250S and the other KLX250 variants?
My bike is a KLX250H, and my manual mentions a 250J but not a 250S... my gauges are metric and I believe the 'S' is in miles (?) -- is that the only difference or are there other model differences?

RE: hello and what is 250s?
Over here in Aus it's a KLX250R.
But it's virtually the same as the S.
There might be the odd difference so it complies with our ADR(Australian Design Rules).
All the important numbers are the same.
Cheers

I don't know if its the same as your KLX250H, but my model designation is a 2006 KLX250H6F.
I was doing some investigation a couple months ago with Kawasaki in Canada and in the US, and was told that KLX250S is a "marketing" designation and that KLX250H6F is a manufacturing designation ... but they're essentially the same thing (other than regional differences like MPH/KPM speedometers, manuals in English & French, etc.).
Its all green to me!
