Im sure the market is there for the "Dual Sport" but for the manufactures to make more 49 state legal bikes would just about kill us out here in Kalifornia! The Air Resource Board (ARB) her in Kalifornia in now revoking dirt bike/dual sport conversions that were done after 2004 that dont meet on highway emmisions. The Husky's and KTM's here that are 50 state legal dont stay in the dealers long and get full list and more from most dealers.

Deej, I never said it was a bad Bike(XT225), it just Didnt do nothin for me when I was Reserching a dual sport on the internet. At that time The only Bike that gave me the "gooey" feeling inside was the KLX. I think that it Looked like a Better off road machine. I am sorry and hope I did not offend you.

Latest word is the AMA & FIM are considering reducing the displacement in the premier MX/SX/GP classes to 350 ish. They want it by 2009. If thats the casse the manufacturers may have to jump on that (its pribably already 2009 as far as the manufacturers are concerned). Plus if they manage to get it reduced (we will see) the may come out as 350s
