Has anyone change their seat cushion?

The more you ride it the more your a*s will adapt. You can also try wearing a pair of padded bicycle briefs - cheap but effective.

I saved this link but never got around to doing anything. Looks like it would be a fairly easy install and should make the seat more comfortable.

The KLX seat is horrible for comfort. I've never heard ofbicycle briefsbriefs but will try anything at this point. I've even resorted to taking the side pads off of my motocross pants and placing them in the seat of my pants to help with discomfort on my KDX. I ride my KDX on etremely rocky terrain in the mountains and have problems on even that cushy seat. I can only imagine what it would be like to ride the KLX there. My **** hurts after riding the KLX only atwo hours on the street.
Warski, thanks for the link. I've heard about those seats and will definately invest in an after market seat.
In closing, david681 I feel your pain.

RE: Has anyone change their seat cushion?
I have a Renazco on my KLX.I just finished a trip to my daughter's house near Tokyo. No special pants, just blue jeans and boxer shorts...no powders or the likes either. It was roughly 450 miles each way. My wrists and neck were the only areas of discomfort. No issues with the...err..posterior what-so-ever.
The seat is awesome. You getan idealbalanceof support and cushioning. They build according to your weight. It'snot overly softlike the stock KLX seat, where the cushion climbs into your crotch and exerts enough pressure to make you wanna cry after 30min.I've said many times that this should have been my first mod on this bike...I log a lot of miles on the slab $300.00 for the basic, black vinyl covered model, but worth every penny for me.
