Yeah there aftermarket parts are over priced just like the bikes are, such a waste paying all that money just for the name.

While I tend to agree with you about Overpriced you do get what you pay for and Harleys are no more overpriced then say BMW, Mercedes, Porshe, etc, etc, etc. Of course my sporty will Still be worth some decent money 5 years from now unlike the Klx250 Or the CBR600RR or just about any import bike out there. Are they the best bikes out, not by a long shot but just like a 68 SS Camero or 69 judge its all about the ride and the way the bike makes you feel. Not to mention you will get a Lot more girls on a nice harley then say a metric crusier.

Man that bike is sweet. Hey I was just kidding about the original post, everyone here respects everyone, that the understanding I got when I joined the site, or rather started the 250 area. Its all good. Hugs all around.

then why'd you start this stupid topic in the first place? what was the point? to laugh at someone who was in the process of wrecking on a motorcycle? have you ever been down? it's not anything to laugh about and it hurts. i wasn't going to give you the satisfaction of posting a reply to this as it's got prejudice and stereotyping all over it, but you need to hear from us "Harley owners". we don't all wear "dewrags", and I guarantee I could whoop you on a bike anywhere on any terrain as I am one of them HD owners who know how to ride. Yeah I am cocky and have a lot of self-confidence.
Man, I still don't see what your original intent was with this, and I think a lot of guys that normally stick their tongues up your *** are biting their tongues now, keeping quiet when they really think you're a tool for starting this rant. Isn't there enough websites out there for watching stuff like this or looking at pics that we have to bring it to the KLX 250S forum? It's like you're shooting one of your own troops with this. Just cuz someone doesn't wave at you doesn't mean they hate you or think you're a jerk for not riding a HD. I have some nerve damage in my left hand (yes, from my motorcycle wreck back in '96) and I can't spread all my fingers out to wave especially after it's been wrapped around a grip. Do I still try and wave? Heck yeah, but sometimes I don't get a wave back. I sure as heck don't get mad and go cry about it on some web forum. OK, I'm stepping off the soapbox.
This is just like slavery and discrimination, it just doesn't go away and some just have it in their system just itching to let it out for some reason or another. Most HD riders are nice guys and know how to ride, and then some don't.

RE: Harley Riders
i do believe that it was a joke, and it was just an interesting pic, just like "women drivers" they are labeled as bad drivers, but i know a few that are pretty damn good... for the most part, most harley riders have the attitude that "if you dont have a harley, you aint sh*t". Those are the guys that ruin "Harley riders" names... so go try to straighten them... i have met a few nice harley riders, and a few no so nice ones...
I live by the rule: " I won't treat you like an a**hole until you have proven to me that you are one." Everyone starts out on a clean slate with me...
