Handguard Question...

RE: Handguard Question...
I went with Moose Racing guards and didn't bother trying to fit them to the stock bars. I found the stock bars way too low when I was standing on the pegs. It felt like I was going to fall forward the whole time.
I got some some Moose racing steel handlebars with the CR high bend. They were only 12$ here.
I figured at 12$, if I didn't like the bend, I wasn't out that much money. I like they way they fit and feel and I'll keep them until I tweak them or something, then I'll get another pair since they're so cheap.

RE: Handguard Question...
i strongly suggest replacing stock handlebars... i tweaked mine to hell with a 40mph slide out on wet grass.. now the weld on one side is stressed/slightly cracked from the bend and bend back... just another thing to buy come this winter... for the past month or so my bike has been sitting waiting for the shopping list of parts i need to order for it... started the downward spiral of parts purchasing with the skidplate... next comes bars and some solid brushguards..... then i need to replace the lower chainguide which also get tweaked in the wipeout then.. tires.. then folding mirrors.. then.....
