Hey Finger, Durham's pretty farfrom me so I'd love if you could ship yours to me. Please let me know how much $$$ and how to pay you. Do you use Paypal? I actually was able to fix mine with a soldering iron after going back to get the pieces from the trail but I couldn't find 1 small piece.

No Problem Gerry, I'll box em up an ship'em to ya on Monday (going fishing tomorrow) provided the Post Office is open.....pm me your email and mailing address.....shipping can't be but a couple bucks....you got some local peanut brittle.
Edit: I just dug them out of the klx goodie box.....well they are used..lol...but in one piece and perfectly usable...but they have those plastic bend discolorings,,,just so ya know....I think three dollars of brittle will make an even trade. lol give me your address.

I too discovered how bad these OEM "handguards" suck azz. I was out moto-ing around on some muddy logging roads yesterday when I had a small wipeout trying to escape a diagonal rut. The right handguard was just about the first part of the bike to make contact with the ground. It literally exploded into three jagged pieces that went flying. Luckily, although the ground was hard enough to break the "guard", it had a layer of clay snot on top which I believe saved the brake lever. I am officially convinced riding off road without bark busters is asking for trouble.
So, I'm now in the market for barkbusters with full spousal approval.![Smile](https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
