Had a spill. Made a puddle.
My boot slipped while walking it backwards it into a parking spot. I did the splits, and I laid the bike down on the battery side.
It is amazing how muck gas came out of, what I was guessing was, the carb overflow.
I picked up the bike and and rolled it out of the puddle, which was about 3 feet across.
I have never seen that much fuel spill out of a bike from just laying it on its side.
If I REALLY go down, I'm gonna go up in flames with this thing.

The thing is, you wouldn't notice it in the mud. I was shuffling bikes around in the driveway today and dropped my KLX and a gas puddle started forming pretty quickly. Easy to see on pavement, but I wouldn't have seen it on the trail. I've never had a bike leak from falling over before, and I've dropped my share.

Oh man, that 'muck gas' is bad news! Change to pump gas before you gum-up the works

The "muck gas" was a byproduct of ethanol and lack of sleep. (This post is also written on ethanol.)
I slipped on some leaves on the polished concrete of my apartment's garage. Also my boots were near worn out and have since been sent to be resoled.
As for the gas, I dropped it with a full tank. When I refilled, I put in 1.61 gallons for 82 miles. I usually get about 65 mpg.
I still ride almost every day.
