I too found the same progressive gains in low end delivery. Between stock-KDX snorkel and then from no snorkel to airbox lid off. I get a smaller gain when I take the baffle out of the exhaust but the audible enjoyment increases exponentially on the trails, too loud for the road though. How does the UNI compare to the stock filter and what oil do you use?

i have a 125 mian and clip on the 3rd position and a uni with the kdx snorkel, but it doesnt sound like mine is running like yours.... i think i might have to jump to 128 and the second position.... damn i am really not looking forward to ripping off the carb again.

Hey Iowa, what UNI filter did you get? I was thinking the KLX300 P/N but wasn't sure.
Thanks!

Then don't! Pull the tank and you can adjust the needle with the carb on the bike. Then just loosen things up and rotate the carb to the left to swap the jet. Easy Peezy.
