Eric, You have no idea how happy that I am to hear that it's at a different dealer!!!!! If they are reputable, my guess is that your problems are soon to be over! There is no doubt in my mind that after the first uncommon problem, the rest was their ineptness(is that a word?)
Good luck, and if it gets into a long ordeal again, I will be happy to loan you a bike!!(I promise!)

when they call and tell me whats wrong.... im gonna have a good talk with the service manager about putting the 300 cylinder on.... i was looking at the prices of the parts.... the 300 parts would be less than 20-30$ more.... but it would be what they can do because they have to turn it into kawi...... but ill tell them thats what i want... maybe if i get lucky they can do that.... maybe because the dealer will install the whole thing it will be ok.....

Hey, it's worth a shot. I plan on putting in the 300 cylinder plus high performance cam this winter.

If you can get most of the cylinder/piston cost covered by warranty, go for it.

I agree, they caused this. The original problem was a Kaw one. The rest of this is blood on the hands of the last monkeys that worked on it.

EMS how many miles you got on that thing? i just flipped 17,000 and no problems engine wise, i hate to hear about your difficulties but it could have been any one of us, just glad you didnt go postal on someone lol. good luck man i cant imagine your pain
17,000?!!! What the flip? Do you have a 100 mile commute every day? I just hit the 6,000 mile mark and I ride to work every day. Of course my commute is 1.7 miles. I think I have over 100 days in a row riding to work.
