grips falling off/no tool kit
i had my bike a week and got a recall saying my grips might fall off. i had to read it twice to make sure. also my manual says i should have a tool kit. there isn't one there im sure it's ****ty anyways i had my own.

Hey Bob, welcome to the forums, sorry about the tool kit, and you're right its mostly junk anyway, but I have one on my bike and I take extra tools. Good luck, and stick around and get to know us here........wait if you get to know us you might leave........never mind.

my dealer called the house and got my dad about this. he asked the guys if he was stoned, he said no, he ended up on the floor laughing that this could even be recalled. i had mine done just because the fork seals went out (done under warrenty after some heavy pushing on my part). ended up getting new bars and stuff a week later. any diffrence in the grips, didnt look like it.

Awesome trick. A friend of mine that works in a bike shop showed it to me and it's the only reason I have hairspray in the house. (Well, garage, actually. ) People are amazed when they see how well it works.
