Mate, poor form on not giving some sort of spoiler alert on this post
You pretty much gave the final score to the superbowl before I got a chance to watch it - not everyone lives in the US and/or gets to watch it live.

Thankfully it was still an exciting and eventful race - in keeping with the rest of the season! Smart move by RV letting Reed and Dungey by to fight knowing all he needed was 5th. He is a worthy champ, but I really was hoping Chad could finish the fairytale season to beat all the odds. He pretty much did that anyway, but without the cherry on top

On the Kwaka front, Team Green sure has a great partner in Mitch Paton. He has developed such an awesome bike, team, and riders. His help with Reed has had a large influence on Chad having such a good season too. Home Mitch keeps on working with Kawasaki and some of what he develops for the MX bikes starts trickling down to the next-gen KLX.

I'm happy for villopoto and happy for team green but I was kind of hoping dungey would take it again this year. I know...blasphemy but I really like the guy. Either way, I'm glad stewart came in fourth. for some reason he really rubs me the wrong way. talented as hell but he's like a loose cannon. how many times did he crash into chad? anyway, it was a good season.

i was kinda hoping reed would take it, just cus ive been a reed fan sence i started getting into supercross/motocross in 08. i think even though him and dungey didnt win the title, i think they proved them selves to the world that they are both shooting for titles. bubba proved that his is beatable. villopoto just does what he does, wins championships as long as he doesnt take him self out in the process. and yes, i am a poto fan, kinda hard getting near the end there. reed had a good point after the race, had kawi and him gotten along, this would be a kawi 1-2.

Funny how a season with a couple of big stacks, and taking out other riders - especially the "peoples choice" rider in the final race (Kevin Windham) - turns the tide of popularity of JS7. Two years ago the guy was almost worshipped like a god and his stacks were easily forgiven as he was such an awe inspiringly fast rider. Now he is really being given stick about being a modern day kamakazi on the track. His little brother seems to be following in his footsteps in that regard too unfortunately - as if there wasn't enough bike bashing and plastic rubbing in the lites anyway with the likes of Bam-bam Barchia.

In the open class, what has really struck me this year is how many likeable riders there are in the top 5. Most poeple would only say that they think 1 of them is a tosser... and excactly who that is depends on whether you are a JS7 or CR22 fan. RV, RD, and TC are all nice clean but still aggressive riders that don't come across as tossers at all (unless you don't agree with them expressing their religions openly in post race interviews). JS7 has done a lot to try help his image with his post race interviews, but after that he won't speak to anyone and his off track antics were dodgy. CR22 on the other hand is outspoken in his opinions in interviews which rubs some people up the wrong way, but this season he has gone out of his way to improve his image through seeking interviews, autograph sessions, etc.

IMO it's a pity Chad fell out with Kawasaki as I would love top have seen him do well on the green, and possibly do the 1-2 with RV.

Yeah the "Whole" person is what's good about Reed, Windham, Canard and Villapoto. If Stewart wasn't such a jackass off the track his riding style probably wouldn't seem as bad.
