wow, that sounded like an IGpost not long ago.

 

Well I don't think deej knew about it either....lol....look what ya did.

 

The more I read around the more I hear about suspension....I'm also large (and in charge) with the stock suspension, and am told that it will change the bike. The guy in the vid said it will keep the power on the ground? So, it'll feel like the bike has more nuts if i get it dialed in? I might have to look into doing the suspension....anyone done it (bythemselves) on their own?

I also wish they would have changed the gearing as part of their mods. If one was only to change a couple things (ie: the pipe and jetting) they might not be blown away as if they did the complete package (gearing, crankcase vent, jetting, air intake and exhaust) I bet he would have been more impressed with the results.

Going off topic, I really don't see the harm in Reposting some things. Sure lots of members have seen something, but that could have been a year or more ago. Stuff gets lost around here, reviving it once in a while isnt bad.

Call up http://www.moto-pro.com/ . They'll ask your weight, how you ride, etc, and make a recommendation. Usually all you need are springs and they are easy to change. Then set your sag adjustment. Setting the sag is basically just setting the preload so that the static sag and rider sag fall into the correct range. If your sag is not right, that means the bike's geometry is not right and will cause it to not handle very well. Get the geometry right and you notice a big improvement in turning, high speed stability, etc.

suspension, turn signals for the honda, mirrors, brakes, helmets, riding pants, ss brake lines....ahhhh...... expensive hobby, especially having 2 bikes...... hey brian, could ya give me a couple seeds from that money tree?
