And you can thank Jack Penton, in very large part, for being the huge influence in the early days at KTM. Good lord how I wanted a Jackpiner back then!!!

I had a 1973 six days 125cc Sachs 6B engine though not the more reliable and better shifting 175cc KTM engine that was in the Jackpiner. For it's day one of if not the best handling dirt bikes ever made. For that matter we can thank Jack Penton for the great steering properties of the KLX as the Pentons were involved with the developement of the KDX line which lead to the KLX line.

we do have them, just not plated. andrew short raced one last year, and mike alessi the year before that. maybe not a enduro version, but the diffrences are few and easy to change. still would rather find a way to plate a klx450, but to each there own. those trails on the other hand, *droooooooool*.
