So last week as I was asking about service manuals and their part numbers I checked ebay and as luck would have it there was One up for auction. Got it for 31 bucks. Not the best deal in town but not too chabby either. In just like new condition and with Part Number 99924-1165-03 like the seller stated.

For some reason he also included a Free counter sprocket too. When I fisrt saw it I was like Ohh ya, a 13 tooth sprocket But alias it was not to be. It's a 15 tooth sprocket. It's marked in ink klx 250/300. It's from Renthal and the part number is 252-528-15. The Center hole has six groves or cutouts around it.

Anybody know if this will fit the 06 Klx250s. And if it does fit what will a 15 tooth sprocket do for me. If the 13 tooth gives you more low end then this will give a better top end I think. The Stock counter sprocket has 14 teeth right. Man I was hoping it was a 13 tooth, oh well it Was free.

it won't fit. it's different from our bikes. a 15 tooth would hurt everything. your acceleration would be slower and in my opinion top end would too bc i would bet the bike wouldnt have enough power to pull through the whole rev range in 6th gear with a 15.

 

dunno if it fits but the bike as stock doesn't have the power to pull it.
