Default got my auxilery lighting installed today

It was a piece of cake mounting these, they went right in the existing front bolt. I did run a relay and a toggle for them too. They are very bright single bulb cree 10watt. I didn't want higher wattage because of the limited power available on a stock klx charging system. They are plenty bright. I paid 12 bucks each on epay and bought 4 of them, 2 extras will be used on something else.

A fear would be riding at night and the headlight blows out and no lighting at all. Which is why i like auxiliary lighting.

I am running the stock headlight with an 8K HID conversion kit, the ballast is hidden behind the front plastic piece in front of the speedo. If you do the conversion, make sure you use a compact ballast. They are around 30 bucks on epay.

How are the auxiliary lights at night? Did you do it to see better or to be seen by others?

hi - do you mind posting URL or more specific description/part number? i'm searching for these on amazon and the 'e' site (can we not say that word?) anyway i find things like "cree DRL fog lights" but nothing that quite matches what you are showing. did they come with the toggle/relay or was that a kit (i sort of suck with electrical stuff).

Update: are these what you bought? they certainly aren't $12 but they look the same as your picture.

I took the bike out last night up my 2 mile dirt road, they light up right in front of the bike in perfect fashion, which is what i was looking for and how i have them aimed. They are 800LM lights. They are just as blinding as a 800lm cree flashlight you might purchase times 2. I bought them on Ebay not amazon and yes i love amazon, best in customer service by far. I had the relay and toggle, here's the lights i bought. The seller has auctions for 4 or more which i what i won for 54 bucks if i remember right, they come from china, so you have a wait, but for me i dont mind waiting for a good deal. And they are 6500 kelvin which are very white, i hate yellow lights....
