Default Got the CNC endcap for my Big Gun last night

So I got home from work last night and had several boxes waiting for me. I had ordered a set of front fork springs and the rear spring from pro motion suspension so now I have the correct springs for my 220lb fat ***. While I'm not looking forward to installing them I believe they will improve the ride alot and will allow me to do some jumping with the bike once I actually take it off-roading. For my weight John recommend the 6.4 rated spring for the back and .46 springs for the front. In comparing the new spring to the back I can see it's bigger. I will report on this later down the road.

The Big News is I also got my CNC end cap for my Big Gun exhaust last night too. Drum roll please......

YES The CNC endcap Fits the Evo-X exhaust system fine. But with the good there is always the bad. The CNC endcap fits fine But you will not beable to use the Vortex quite core with it. using this endcap you will have to use just the race core and screen spark arrestor that comes with the system OR purchase the Real quite core. As far as how it looks I guess you will just have to wait for the pictures.

O' and Iowaguy, right on the bottom of the endcap it is Stamped Big Gun. No sticker there bro. I think your going to like it.

Ya ya I Know. But just like my turn signals I will post pics and somebody will be buying the CNC end cap too. Building a bike is about building Your Bike for You Not about building LV's bike for You. I'm funny like that I guess. goes back to my harley days. Everybody goes with slip on mufflers and rejet's the carb and I go with Rinharts and a Mikuni. I like my bikes to be Mine, Different, and Unique. I will help Anybody all I can But I dont want them building My Bike for Them. I hope everybody understands where I'm coming from and not take offense to it But after my license plate/turn signal post the other day and seeing the responce's I'm like great, everybody's going to be running around with the same turn signals I got now. I should have kept Mum on all my plans and then blow everybodys mind when I post pictures of My Finished Motorcycle instead of Piece meal.

Suffice to say the CNC endcap Looks Real Good after I polished it a little and yes I will post some pics.

Of course I guess one could say that Emulation is the ultimate form of Flattery

Are you saying you don't like seeing photos of other people's bling? If you do, then share the joy and give some back in return I think most folks here aren't trying to copy anyone's particular bike, but rather borrow the ideas they like, pass over the ones they don't, and maybe come up with something that uniquely suits them. That's what I do anyway. I've borrowed lots of ideas I learned here and elsewhere, but still my bike is not like anyone elses.

I'd like to see the photos - if nothing else I just like looking at what others have done and think to myself, that's cool, nice job. Post'm up man. Of course, you don't have to - I do understand if you don't, no problem.

BTW, glad you got your end cap sorted out and that it fits.

That's what I thought after talking with Phil last week ... he said that Kyle would ship it off next day and send me a tracking number, but so far - nothing. Phil didn't sound too sure about how it was going to be shipped through customs, so thinking that all the Big Gun screw-ups are behind me is probably a bit premature.

I'm in no hurry, though ... I had my bike rejetted, so at least I can ride it now and it runs well. At this point, there's been so much crap that I can't get excited about it ... it will get here when it gets here, and I'll reinstall / rejet if the weather holds out. Otherwise, I'll have a new pipe with an expired warranty to look forward to next Spring.

Hey, on the "Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Flattery" issue ... I'm all for the customization / personalization / uniqueness thing. (Otherwise, we could all the same KLX250 photos from the Kawasaki website!!!). On the other hand, unless someone does all the same mods, exactly the same way, ... and shows up at the same place at the same time as you ... who's to say that your bike isn't custom / different / unique. (Only "regulars" here will know for sure -- and we're pretty geographically dispersed, so the likelihood of same place / same time are pretty slim.) I'd think it was pretty cool if I came up with a new idea that someone thought was cool enough to copy. (Not that I need that kind of reinforcement, but its still cool.) Alternatively, you could always have some "Designed by Lord Venger" stickers printed up and cash in on your artistic talents!

Now, if you were to "chop" your KLX ... THAT would be definitely be different / unique / strange!!!

Ride safe!

Mike

Ya I know, You guys are right and Yep I Love to see Pics as much as anybody else does and I do Borrow from other peoples bikes. In the end though it's uniquley Mine. I guess I was just taken back by how much people seemd to like the new turn signals. Deep down I Knew you guys would though and yes when someone wants\likes my idea it makes me feel good. As stated before I've been told I know how to build a bike with just the Right Components to make it Look and Run killer. I was told this with my DR, I was told this with my harley, and I'm sure I will get told this with the Kawi too. Seems like a gift I have. Hell maybe I should of started building choppers 15 years ago.

Anyway if its pics you want its pics youll get. Meet my new exhaust, I'm sure I will get asked if thats Stock and to me that's a Compliment.
