This raises an interesting point.
I replaced my speedo/odometer ages ago with a GPS.
I use this GPS for other things as well.
It's almost certainly illegal to tamper with an odometer of a vehicle unless it is required, for example, when replacing a faulty speedo.
But if I am honest with any future buyer, is it still illegal?
Unless I am trying to gain advantage through deception, is it illegal?
mmmm
Same thing for the Trailtech option.
mmmmm
Is it illegal to tamper with a vehicles odometer in any circumstance, or, is it only illegal if trying to decieve?
