This is frustrating. I got all the parts together. Put on a hi energy coil, did a rejet with a #128 main, installed lowering links, put on aux hi beams and can't get this stinking nut off.

Maybe I need a bigger wife

Hmmm my wife is 5-7 and weighs 120 so I don't think size matters. (well not in this case anyway)

horizonod,
If your bike is rideable. . . . take it to a automotive service facility and ask them to impact-gun it loose and then snug it back up enough for you to ride it home. You don't see any rust/corrosion at the end of the threaded shaft, do you? I hit the countershaft nut on my bike for about 1/2 second with a good 1/2 inch drive impact gun and the nut spun right off!

No rust. I've soaked it with pen oil several times. Went to Lowes last night and got a 525 ft lb impact gun cranked the compressor up to 150 psi and laid on it...........................not a budge.

I got the 1/2 in. breaker bar back out and had my son, 6'2" - 240lbs, stand on the brake and hold down the rear. It started moving slowly. It didn't "pop" loose. I thought for sure I was rounding the nut but it did turn and I got the sprocket changed.
