Question Ghetto camera mount - give me feedback

Ok, so I made this ghetto camera mount and it is seriously ghetto but it only cost me $4.79 worth of supplies at Ace Hardware. 1/2 threaded "T" PVC, threaded PVC cap, 1/4 by 1 and a half inch screw, lock washer, nut and 2 half inch hose clamps. Here's the pic of the mount and the test video is below...man you can hear that thumper going crazy! The mount is a lot better than my crackberry taped to my mirror!

Hey, as the Brits would say, "the proof is in the pudding", and it appears the pudding in this instance came out just fine thank you.

Sometimes the simple solution turns out quite well and there seems to be a lot of guys here who are pretty good at fabbing just what they need.

My only suggestion to you would be to consider a drop of Loc Tite where the bolt snugs to the PVC (lots of vibration on our little thumpers). Other than that, well done.

Looks sturdy enough but I wouldn't do any jumps. In the event of a bad landing it could sucker punch you in the chin. I know because my GPS got me in the chest. Your other post reminded me when I zip tied my camera phone to my Nitro RC truck then fliped it and almost squashed the thing.

Awesome job: 2 things to consider. 1: Some sort of Plexiglass shield in front of the camera. 2: Maybe some rubber incorporated ta absorb shock. It looks like a pretty expensive Camera so I just suggested those 2 things to help protect it a bit.

LOL thats funny, the dog was chasing you then you turned around and the dog didn't know where the heck to go. I love dogs, their funny,...simple animals. Then you went down that trail and those branches were in the way and you went " WHOO!"

LMAO

Not to bad but the vibration from the bike affected the picture.
