I am getting it for 2500.00 which is at top book price but it really is in showroom condition. I rode it around and it's super!. I am 6'1 and about 180lbs, at 1st I thought it was too small but after riding it it's fine.

Any tips for new owners of a 2006 KLX250??

Thanks!!

Whatever you do, don't pull a jhoffy22

In all seriousness, I purchased a 2006 klx250s with over 6k miles on it and got it for $2100. You're getting a good deal in my opinion. I'm sure you already know that the bike is pretty ball-less stock...

You will enjoy the bike, soon you may want to make it go faster or handle better and this is the place for instruction and ideas. Post some pics as most 06's don't look new any more.

Start saving for upgrades... I have done many, if i were to do it over again, i would first do springs ( proper ones for your weight), then rejet it with a full exhaust. Then everything else is just for fun I could go on and on....

And I think someone has a backup copy available on this site somewhere. If you can't find it, let us know.
