I'm getting ready to go with a 47 tooth rear sprocket, i just want to verify that i need a 110 link drive chain, correct? I typed in 520-110 drive chain in ebay and there is a honda one for $42, as long as it's a 520-110 am i ok?

Stock is listed at 104, so 110 sounds right. Why not just get a full length and cut it to fit? It is easier than risking it be too short. If you are going to do your own work you will need a chain tool sooner or later anyway. Be wary of those ebay chains, they don't last long. I tried a couple and they both developed stiff links in a couple thousand miles.

My bike is geared 14/47 right now and there was quite a drop in top speed from 13/42. 65 is about my usable top speed now. I got 82 by laying on the tank with my legs straight back running at 9500 rpm, but I don't recomend it.
(Indicated speed not verified by GPS or any thing like that)

For what it's worth, I run a 49 rear and 13, 14, or 15 front and the 110 chain fits with all three combinations. +1 on getting the full length chain and cutting it to the needed length.
