I only remember three lines. There was a line for ON, one for RES (reserve) and a small breather. I am sorry I cannot help with that mass of hoses.
yeah I didn't think they made an 09 that was fuel injected. I was confused about the manual ...but I'm noticing now that it may be for a newer model klx because it doesn't specify a year in the manual. I think I thought it was 09 because the link to download the manual said 09.

I actually downloaded the 09 one from this website as well and couldn't find any thing on the carb ..ill check it again.

located in CA ... my manual was downloaded from the internet.

I'm sure whatever info I have probably isn't 100% compatable if your bike was purchased outside the USA.

That is not a FI tank. Yellow fuel , White res. fuel. I only have 4 lines total. Both fuels then one tank vent and one overfill drain. Both gray hoses that exit at the ground. I believe yours is different as 09 had a canister. It was dropped in later years.

That may be the key to extra hoses. Evaporation pollution stuff that Cal. has and others don't If the charcoal canister isn't there, fumes will possibly vent.out, causing the odor.

well.. whatever it is, I've just decided to plug the smelly hoses with Allen wrenches after my rides + let it vent for 5 min outside before I put it in the garage. works like a charm.

Get yourself a IMS tank and eliminate it. Then all you have is one little vent out the top.

na man.. im savin up for a engine rebuild , rings, bearings , valve stems ..etc.

plus I dont want it venting out into my face when I'm riding lol the Allen wrench system is the way to go lol I'm also proud of the system I invented so ... all the more reason to stick with it.

2gallon fuel tank is rather limiting. The 3 gal IMS tank simplifies things, overflow hose one way check valves work excellently $4.95 from rmatv
