Gas Mileage with a 351cc and Pumper?
Me? I get about 21 miles per gallon. Is that normal?
I hit reserve at 39 miles on the trip meter.
Maybe it is just a little too rich? or something?

Something wrong there! Mine gets 120km per gallon. (That's 75 mpg.) I don't hang around either.
BTW, with 13/47 gearing and 351 cc aren't you finding first gear a little redundant? I run 13/45 and find I only use it for steep rocky descents on compression. 14 teeth may help.
The pumper carb' will eat the gas for sure. The CV carb doesn't have the snap of the pumper but I wouldn't trade the gas milage, 75 mpg.

Neilaction has the same issue. I recon he'll get less mileage than my stock tank even though he has 10.5 litre IMS tank.
For the frugal fuel economy the CV carb' gives I can live with it's misgivings.

My fuel economy isn't that bad Woz.
I was using about 12% more fuel than Rob was on his stock bike.
Are you getting 75 miles per US gallon?
That is increbible.
I reckon I'm about 50-55. Thats mainly off road.
300 kit, BG full system and pumper.
21mpg is just madness and something has to be way wrong.
Remember that if the pumper is set up and right, it only gives an extra squirt when you twist the throttle.
There should be no more fuel used on a steady throttle.

filled bike the other day, rode to midland, topped her up, she held 1 litre exactly, gps says 32 km.:d

GPS has averaged all my dirt rides over the last 12 months. 29 km/ litre.
I put it down to the 13/45 gearing having the ability to use 6th (overdrive) from about 35 km up ( that's a large majority of the time i'm riding.)

That is good. Very.
I've never really checked mine on the road, only in the dirt.
I'm going to though.
And the on off throttle and a pumper will drink a bit.

You must have a fuel leak or the carb is jetted way rich. Jo Ann's bike is 71 MPG mine is 78 MPG. How many miles do you have on the new top end?
E-Mail me at b_jblue@sbcglobal.net so we can talk about this problem.
Thanks

71 MPG mine is 78 MPG.
Smells like it is running rich, but maybe that is a leak I smell.
I'll check closely tomorrow and report back.
