Default Fuse Location

I blew the fuse on the headlight and tail light. I found the main 20v fuse but can't find the fuse for the lights. Anyone know where it's hidden on a 2006 KLX 250S? I found it. It's in a little black plastic box with a rubber housing around it and an extra fuse.

fwiw, fuse blows if the hi/low headlight switch gets bumped or held in between positions. Tries to turn both filaments on and blows the fuse. Carry a spare or replace with a 15a. Rode home in the dark myself from this before I figured it out. My klr and klx will do it, can't see anyhting broke in the switches, just the way their built.

Really? I haven't heard that before. I've been riding with my switch in between the hi and low with no problems.

Has anyone else experienced this or was it an isolated incident for RimBender?

fine switching from hi low, it's just if you were leaning or up against the switch holding it in the middle position. I did it wresting the bike on a loose hill I didn't make one night and rode out in the dark. Found that to be the problem and got it to do it again while testing. '06 250s fwiw. Took switch apart everything looked normal. My klr650 has done it too, I knew right away the problem. Changed 10a to a 15a fuse and cured the problem. take it fwiw

Exactly where did you find the fuse box?

GoodDay Fellows.
Anyone got a pic of the HEADLAMP fuse location?
I taped the wiring up last fall and don't want to peal the nice cloth tape off.
Enough White widow to burn those grey cells. CAN'T remember where it is.

When I find it I'll put up the pics. Any HELP appreciated!
